- You've lost yours - and now you can't use the feet that came with your machine.
- Your Pfaff / Husqvarna ankle is too wide for most universal snap-on feet.
- Your old machine doesn't take snap-on feet, and you're fed up with taking the screwdriver out EACH time you want to use a different foot!
If you've lost yours - Don't worry. Because you're not alone...
Most of us never realized.....
Losing this thing is a nightmare - and it can happen to anyone.
How Did This Happen? Quite Easily...
Imagine this: When your project calls for a walking foot, you go to undo your regular machine foot, which connected to an "ankle" thing that needs to be screwed off to make way for the walking foot.
So you merrily get quilting...
Then when it's time to put the foot back...
You have NO idea where your Snap-on Foot Ankle Thingie went!!
Frantically - you search everywhere. But No Luck.
For the life of you,
where did that damn thing go???
Now, What Do You Do?
First - find out what it's called :-)
This thing is known by a few names: a Snap-on Foot Adaptor / Ankle / Foot Holder (and this one fits Low Shank Machines).
Here's a Little Known Secret - this Adapter allows a Pfaff or Husqvarna Viking to use All Universal Snap-on Feet previously not available to you.
Because European sewing machines (such as Pfaff or Husqvarna Viking) traditionally have a wider bar on their snap-on feet - that means you have been restricted to a very limited range of presser feet.
Using this Foot Adaptor will Open Up Your Options so that you're no longer stuck to just the Pfaff or Husqvarna branded feet. Instead, you can use just about anything that snaps on!
Designed to fit Low Shank 7mm & 5mm Domestic Sewing Machines, it is good for Janome, Elna, Brother, Singer, Toyota plus other European brands like Pfaff or Husqvarna Viking - simply screw it on!

Is this a Genuine Janome Foot?
Unlike some others in the market, this foot is made by the same people that make Janome sewing machine parts. At the same factory where Janome gets their parts made and packaged - located only a few minutes down the road from Janome's own factory.
This company is a third-generation family business that specializes in presser feet and parts. They are one of the few certified makers for Janome, Brother, Singer, Pfaff, and others. If Janome and other brands can trust them - you can trust the quality too.
I've personally visited the factory to verify for myself. I was genuinely impressed because of their a high-quality assurance standard - specified by Janome Japan - the parent company of Janome Australia.
The only difference is in the packaging. I'm calling mine "generic" because we had ours packaged under our own brand.
This means I'm 100% happy and confident that you and your sewing machine are in safe hands - because I recommend this foot to all my students, and use it for my own sewing too!
So do our happy customers - here's just one of many reviews:

What does "Low Shank" and "High Shank" mean?
It means "shank height" or "shank size".
Most domestic machines have LOW shanks.
While most domestic sewing machine these days have LOW shank, they also take snap-on feet (which are the most common ones that come with your machine).
And these machines come complete with the ankle-foot holder/adapter thingie - unless you've misplaced yours, of course.
But if you have a vintage machine (say, pre-1970) then your machine might NOT take snap-on feet - which limited your option serverly when it comes to presser feet.
Not only because you're stuck with a very limited range of feet that come with built-in low shank, you'd also need to take out your screwdriver - each time you want to change feet!
That's why it makes perfect sense to get one of these. You can...
- save yourself the pain of having to use the screwdriver all the time, and
- have more variety of feet for your beloved vintage machine!
